cc AND build cc

but if i cut and paste it wouldnt the cc be still in my mods folder
can we disable then re enable cc
if my cc goes i will never update my game

sorry but i still dont get it, so let me just make it clear .
i disable my cc then update my game,go back to the game see if its fine , then re enable cc.
will my cc still apear,or do i have to delete all my cc from my mods folder and get it back again
please help

I will try to clarify. :)

Cut and paste your Mods Folder to your desktop. Run the update. Go into the game and enable mods & cc, exit the game.

A new mods folder will have been generated, but that is ok. Cut and paste your old Mods folder back into the Sims 4 folder, when asked if you want to re-write the Resource.cfg filr say yes. Now you should be able to play the game.

I have the game and CC, and I did exactly what I said.

OR

You can leave your Mods folder alone (i.e. do nothing). Enter the game, click enable Mods. Exit the game to apply the change. Then play.

Forget I said anything about the Mods folder. I am OCD, so I do things the complicated way. Leave the Mods folder where it is. The game will disable mods when it updates. You don't have to do anything until the update is done. THEN go in and enable mods, exit the game to save the change and then you can play.

I am sorry I confused you. You should be perfectly fine doing it this way.
