i still dont get it let me make it clear can i disable my cc then update my game and then re enable it . or can i move my cc from my mods folder to some random folder then update my game then put the cc back in the mod folder. or is there another way cuz i really dont get this shiz thanks
Cut and paste your Mods Folder to your desktop. Run the update. Go into the game and enable mods & cc, exit the game.
A new mods folder will have been generated, but that is ok. Cut and paste your old Mods folder back into the Sims 4 folder, when asked if you want to re-write the Resource.cfg filr say yes. Now you should be able to play the game.
Forget I said anything about the Mods folder. I am OCD, so I do things the complicated way. Leave the Mods folder where it is. The game will disable mods when it updates. You don't have to do anything until the update is done. THEN go in and enable mods, exit the game to save the change and then you can play.
I am sorry I confused you. You should be perfectly fine doing it this way.
