First, make sure that no syncing programs like OneDrive or iCloud can see any Sims files. You can get support with that in the PC and Mac tech forums: Category: The Sims 4 | EA Forums
Second, make sure you're putting those in the right folder and not more than 5 folders deep: https://sims4.crinrict.com/eng/2018/07/how-to-find-your-user-folder/
If all that is fine, test those mods alone. They could simply be broken.
