Newly Broken/Obsolete Game Mods

Broken/Outdated

  • All Beds Give Same Energy, Comfort and Stress Relief – cyclelegs – no longer supported

  • Child can be Carried by Adults and Child can care for Toddlers – Sofmc9 – not functioning as intended

  • Drinks Give More Food and Energy Boost – cyclelegs – no longer supported

  • Empty Outdoor Trash – lotharihoe – discontinued as stand-alone; now part of Waste Manager Overhaul

  • Heir/Spare Traits – DaleRune – tuning error

  • Insurance Company Life Insurance – NickyClem

  • Loud Control Sims 4 Twitch Integration – AfflictionNetworks
  • Make Multifunctional Lots Project: Auto-Spawn Baristas/Bartenders/Cafeteria Workers – SimplifiedModding – no longer supported; the creator suggests Zerbu’s Spawn Refresh
  • No Map Lot Outlines – MizoreYukii –blocks lot loading for travel
  • Royal Wedding Event – KiaraSims
  • SCCO: Srsly’s Complete Cooking Overhaul – Srsly – Simple Living, grocery shopping, and ingredient use are affected, but basic functions are available. If you choose to remove it, first delete all food, including plates and inventories, to prevent serious errors.
  • Seafood Boil – TianaSims
  • Urn Binding and Summoning – Iced Cream – previously suspected not working as intended, now confirmed

NOTE: Changes to ingredient tags have had a significant impact on some cooking mods. Two of these are listed below, but there are likely others. Typical things not working with the mods in are grocery shopping, Simple Living, and ingredient use, plus the new categories aren’t accessible until those mods are updated. Removing cooking mods can cause errors if not done right, including lots not loading. Please check creators’ instructions when you plan to delete cooking mods.

Obsolete but could be kept:

  • Random Texts & Calls: Restored NPC Invites add-on – Kuttoe – “mostly obsolete… You can leave it installed if you want to push dance party and bar invites to the weekend”

Possibly obsolete (mixed reports):

  • RBF - Gardening Workaround Fix – LittleMsSam – obsolete based on patch notes (fix to “Plants suddenly reverts to dirt pile”), but some players report ongoing issues in game
