Haha okay, clearly I missed this in the broken mods post, it's definitely the culprit!

Cepzid (Zulf) – all except Kids Can Cooking Mod, which is broken

For your question, recipe mods are usually separate from the cookbook mods that enable them -- they're add-ons.
