What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All that are available as of October 12th, 2023.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves?
Step 1: Click on either the knitting bag or the cross stitching box.
Step 2: Select any option to either knit or cross stitch.
What happens when the bug occurs?
A pop up box appears in the right corner titled "Grid Picker Title." It has two check boxes, one that says "Use Fresh Ingredients" and one that says "Checkbox Label." It also have a dropdown menu that just says, "Ok." Once this popup occurs, you cannot close it and the game becomes unplayable. The only way to get rid of the popup is to quit the game and load back in. It still allows you to save the game before you quit, and when you load back in, your Sim will have moodlet saying they completed either a cross stitch or knitting project, but there will be no project in their inventory.
What do you expect to see? The normal selection menus for knitting and cross stitching.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes, I have a few pairs of eyelashes installed.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes, after I installed Home Chef Hustle.
Hi @frnbhd00d0tq Could you test this vanilla to see what happens? Exit Sims 4 then drag your Mods folder to your desktop. Then delete the file called localthumbcache from Document > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4. If you think you might accidentally forget to exit without saving after testing, copy your Saves folder to your desktop too, to back it up. Now open Sims 4 and see if you still have the problem.
The Zulf kids can cook mod is working for me my sims kids just finished cooking grill cheese sandwiches.
There's a chance you've not seen the error it causes, then. It's not been updated since it was confirmed to have problems.
