error with certain venues

whenever my sim tries to enter certain venues (cafés, restaurants, libraries, etc.), it takes me back to the world selection screen and gives an error code. i'm sure this is caused by one of my mods, but my mclastexception can't seem to flag the mod responsible. also, i've been playing offline because i didn't want to update yet.

rebeccagold There are definite causes if you're on the current patch (see the pinned Broken and Updated Mods and CC list), but not on previous patches. You'll need to do 50-50 testing. Instructions on doing that accurately are here: vanilla and 50-50 testing . You might also need to try removing CC from builds.

in case anyone was having the same issue, it was the sim spawn refresh package and script :)

rebeccagold Is this the Zerbu mod? I can't reproduce the issue, and that includes after deleting an object from the Library so it was incomplete as a venue.

yes, i tested a couple of times and the error only occured with
Zerbu - Spawn Refresh.package
and
Zerbu - Spawn Refresh.ts4script.

rebeccagold That's what I tested and it was fine. I haven't tested without the Royalty pack, though, and might do that. Also, are these all edited lots?

i haven't updated yet, so that could be why? these were edited lots, but i also tried in a new save and it didn't work.

rebeccagold Did you update mods but not the game? You have to update the game to use updated mods.

i don't believe i did, but i'm not entirely sure. it says that the files were created and modified october 4, 2025, but i'm not sure whether that's referring to when i downloaded them, or when the modder created them.

rebeccagold That would be the most recent version of Spawn Refresh. However, it's not possible for me to test if it works in any older game version. You might be able to get support from Zerbu's server.
