footprints with red exclamation mark thought
when i click on my sim to do a action, my sim waves and footprints and a red bubble with a exclamation mark on it. i’m not sure what to do this has been happening for a while now.

That’s a routing error. Does it happen no matter what you tell them to do? Can you try just a “go here”? If it happens no matter what, is your Sim stuck - is there anything that could be blocking them from moving? You might need to turn cheats on and teleport them.
Do you have mods installed?

it's the 50/50 method and it can be quite time consuming so sorry in advance.
First, move you CC back in in one go, reload, see if it's broken again. If it is, one or more of those are broken, let me know.
If that works, move your CC to a "mods OK" folder and move in half of your mods
If it's broken again, the culprit is likely in that batch of mods
Delete your localthumbcache and move out half of the mods you had put in, check again. If it works again, move your mods into the OK folder. If it doesn't split again and so on.
I suggest not moving the rest into the OK folder unless it's verified not causing the issue, since it might just be more than one of them causing the issue. If you find the culprit, move in all your untested mods and check to see if one of those still breaks it. hi i'm having the same problem when resuming knitting. the same footprint with red exclamation bubble is popping up. i have removed all my cc and mods upon posting this and it still happens. can anyone pls help? T-T
