Forever frozen

Before the Feb 3rd update, I deleted MCCC and WW, then had redownloaded them into my mods folder. When getting the pop-up for the new rewards event, my game completely froze except for music and some slight movement from sims. I completely took away those mods for now, and the game worked fine after that. Today, when I went to play, everything was fine again until my sims went to elope, and it happened again. I lost about a week's worth of in-game progress, so I decided to try again immediately after loading the game back up to try and have them elope again, and it did it again. I can access build mode, but cannot buy anything. Sims are slightly moving, but I cannot click on them or anything else, and time stays still. I also cleared my cache as well. I haven't seen anything that shows people are having the same problems as me but I was curious.
