Game is loosing all saves when exiting the app

Every time I open the game it is as if I just downloaded it. No save files anywhere. I have them in my computer files but not in my game. I can start a new game and play fine for however long I like but as soon as I close the game and open it again all my saves are gone. I can't load a game, only start a new game like I've never played before. How can I fix this or open a previous save when I don't have a load game option? Is this a computer problem or a game problem? Please help!
