Hi @tr1llestaries Let's test in a whole new user folder, so that there's no legacy information at all, AND with new mod downloads, so it's not a file you've moved before.
- Drag the whole Sims 4 folder to the desktop (or rename it, but personally, I find it easier to move it). EDIT: I know you did this before, but I'd like to try it in combination with fresh mod downloads.
If you had previously set the EA App to launch Sims 4 in DX11 mode, delete that setting in the app. We want as default as possible here.(Ignore that part as you're on a Mac.)- Start Sims 4 so it creates it a new user folder. Then exit.
- Download a new copy of a mod. I would suggest TwistedMexi's Better Exceptions (use the link from his website; you want version v3.13) or, since it caused you problems, UI Cheats Extension.
- Double click the zip folder and drag the mod file to the newly created Mods folder
- Start Sims 4.
Let me know if you this works. If it doesn't, let me know exactly how it doesn't work.
