I highly recommend against even trying this. The Sims wants to find files only in your Documents folder. 

Instead, please consider that you are not ever going to used all those mods. Delete everything you aren't actually using and start over. Only download things you're using. You also almost certainly have broken and duplicated mods if you found that much content. If you downloaded other people's folders, you may even have actual illegal content. 

You should never, ever have to pay for a mod or CC. All are required to be released free, with no clickthrough ads, according to EA's terms.
