Has anyone found the solution to this or is this an problem they need to fix??
What is the sense of paying out money for expansions that don't work? I just discovered this problem this morning and it's really frustrating. None of the household can feed, play with or even pick the infant up. And I know it's not Mods because I cleared all mine and it's still not working.
Found a way to fix it without nanny/butler or another sim. Shift+click on your infant, select "Set relationship", "Add relationship", search for "Already met (hidden)" and voila! )) It is in-game ridiculous feature, that the parent should be introduced to his own baby by someone else NOT in current household to be able to interact with
