Hi, I am not sure if this is the issue, you mentioned that you tested all of your mods, but I had the same problem as you described and it turned out the mods from Sofmc9 -BECARRIEDANIM and CHILDBECARRIED - caused the problems, well at least in my case. After I removed them I can pick up infants and interact with them.

MY SIMS CANT PICK UP THEIR INFANT!! Mods are not causing the issue as I took them out and they are just standing there acting as if they are unable to reach the infant! Once they finally grabbed it the baby then gets dragged onto the floor!! wtf type of crap is being sold to us. This is literally the core element to the update and it’s this screwed up?
Sadly thats not my problem as it doesn't even work with no mods installed T.T and I never had that mod to begin with... But I am glad and happy it worked out for you <3

For those still having issues sometimes you have to try starting a new game after all of the mods (and cc) are moved to make sure it's not a buggy save caused by mods. Thank you and happy simming!
