i cant control my sims movements
i downloaded the game last night and was able to control her but after opening the game today i can only control the camera and she js walks everywhere. ive tried clicking her profile.

Try doing a Game Repair to make sure that your installation is okay. Also, if you added anything to the Mods folder, try removing it and deleting localthumbcache -- outdated mods and custom content can cause all sorts of different issues.
@luthienrising how do i do a game repair?
In the EA App, go to The Sims, select Manage, then pick Repair from the menu.
