infant cannot get onto playmat

I have a problem playing with my Growing Together expansion pack, I cannot place my infant onto the playmat, when my adult sim clicks onto the playmat, the only option available is 'put in inventory'...

    @abcheung1105    Hi!  Do your parent sims have other options for the infant?  Can they change diaper, change outfit, feed, etc.?  There was a bug where some parents had to be introduced to their infant when aged up from newborn in order to have the "care" interactions.  This was supposed to be fixed in the last patch.  I just wondered if perhaps your parent sim and infant need to be introduced.  If so, the best workaround was to select the infant as the active sim and click on the parent sim then select  the "smile at..." option in order to create the relationship.

    Hello Crin,

    Thanks for your advice, however I don't use any custom content or mods in my game. So I still have no idea why it doesn't work.☹️

        @JonaO703 Thank you for your suggestion! Just like you said I had to have my sim to reintroduce herself to the infant by using the "smile at..." interaction, now I can place her on the playmat and have interactions. Many thanks.
