It's technically not broken by itself, it's just that CC has been made since that isn't compatible with it. The way TidyDetails works, its DisplayIndex is set to -999 so it should sort ahead of everything else in its category. I'm not sure if the max used to be different, but nowadays people are giving their CC a lower DisplayIndex, presumably so it shows up first, but that's conflicting with TidyDetails.
For example, one of the Skin Overlays I have sorts ahead of the Forehead Crease TidyDetail, because it's DisplayIndex is -500005. Everything else with a regular sort order doesn't stand out. Like I said, I don't know why it's only now that CC are popping up with such high numbers, but TidyDetails is only equipped to handle -999.
This would technically be an easy fix since it's just a matter of changing all the TidyDetails DisplayIndex to -999999 or whatever, but unfortunately I can't find the creator's TOU to see if that edit would be allowed by them, so you'd have to fix each CAS Part's DisplayIndex yourself for personal use. :(
Hope I explained well enough.^^
This is kinda what I thought might be the issue because I have read people talking about sorting numbers before, particularly with masks and such. I looked for the their tou as well, but all I can find is the tumblr page, and I can't find anything on it. I understand the concept of sorting numbers, but I have never done anything that would involve them. Is the number something I can find using Sims 4 Studio? Do you know what I should look for? I'd like to try to fix it even though I know I can't share it.
