im getting another last exception error. i used the sims 4 last exception assistant and it says something about "outdated wants & fears error" i dont know what it means and i also tried to use better exceptions by twistedmexi but i still can't figure it out. If anyone has had this error before please let me know what helped. The game is quite unplayable.
Hi @4m3lij4 Some older mods never got updated when these systems changed, and others have been updated. You're going to need to go through your mods to see which is causing this and then either remove or update it. Since these could be mods updated a good long time ago, the 50-50 method will be more efficient than using update lists. This means organizing the files there into bite-size batches (with any files they require, like XML Injector or a Core Library mod or mesh) and testing one batch at a time. For each test, delete the file called localthumbcache, then put only that batch in Mods. If your game behaves as you expect, set that batch aside as "cleared" and delete localthumbcache again. If it doesn't behave as you expect, take out half the batch and see if you're closer to finding the culprit. Remember to delete localthumbcache each time. You'll find some 50-50 method tutorials online too. Once you isolate the file, you can go find out if there's an updated version.
@4m3lij4 Hmmm ... well that is not very helpful. :-( Since you did some testing and found that preteen mod might be the culprit, did you try moving that mod out and deleting the localthumbcache to see if the LE still appeared? I'm not familiar with that mod but many mods come with a .package file as well as a .ts4script or .script file, so you'll need to move both of them out if that's the case.
@4m3lij4 Her mods can have complex installation and require other mods. I'd suggest deleting and reinstalling from the mod's page.
