Menu at start up is jumbled up due to an obvious game coding error

Hello There! I have been reading topic after topic trying to get this to work. Now that the game is on my hard drive, when it loads there is no star game, load game or anything. SO The game loads but there's no buttons for me to press start. Can you help?

If this helps, at the top where the scenario flag is says "New free trail not translated"

I already updated the mods, and even removed most of them. I repaired the game, and now this is happening...

OMG please tell me everything wasn't deleted!

I can't even click into any of the households, venues, or anything. Everything literally got restored to the default buildings, and none of the ones I created are no longer there!

@KeepCalmNancyI am sure it's not deleted can you check your Electronic Arts folder and then check your saves, If your households are still there? And did you also delete the localthumbfile after you installed them? I am not familiar with Mac since I only use Windows but I am sure.

and about the orange exclamation points in your lot, it actually means "typically indicate the lot is incomplete due to missing objects" and from this Reddit post too

Try repairing your game, In Origin, go to your my game library and right click Sims 4 and click Repair. This should work this forum is related to this one (Can't interact buttons in Sims 4)

I am having an issue with my start-up menu. Is there a way to fix this? Happened only after the 07.26.2022 update and haven't been able to play the game since. I have updated all of my mods and cc as well. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled the game about 3 times now. I have tried to 'repair' it. I even factory reset my comp thinking it would help and it has not.
