Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. Most recent December 5th patch (both 1st and 2nd I think)
I was playing pre Dec 5th update and everything was fine. I closed the game to get the searchable social menu mod and it updated. When I opened the game post update the UI scaling was so small and if I rescaled it to how I had it before and it complained that the UI was too big & would leak. I ignored it and went to play, my game wouldn't save and I couldn't travel because 'game loading' was in progress. I did the 50/50 method with my mods but when I was, my game kept not responding when I was saying ignore to the ui pop-up on start-up. I figured out it was mccc that was causing the saving issue but the 'not responding' on start-up persisted. Without mods it was fine but when I did the 50/50 method it didn't work. Having ANY cc or mods caused the crash. And now I'm stumped. I've deleted localthumbcache and repaired the game multiple times but my EA app is so annoying and refuses to load the repair half the time. If anyone knows what's happening and how to fix it please let me know. And what on earth is going on with the UI scaling because it's trying to tell me that the recommended setting is tiny when it worked fine larger before.
(btw I did rescale my UI to recommended and my game crashed on start-up regardless on the loading screen)

@Mimimimi09 and @ladygalaxy170 Please head over to Broken/Updated Mods to look for a lot of what's known to need removing or updating.

Hi everyone, I downloaded this mod recently Frau Engel: TS4! Post Apocalyptic Life and everything was normal until a few days ago. First I couldn't use some items such as the TV and right now I'm not even able to go to my save, eberytime an error message inviting me to reload the game pops up. I downloaded a mod trackers and tried to delete the items of the mod that are "in conflict" with other items but the situation is unchanged. Maybe i'm missing something ? Should I delete this mode definetly ? 🤔 I accidently deleted some key folders in the mod and now I have to reinstall the entire game..
Thanks for your answers in advance !😇

A lot of mods was broken after the latest patch so contact the author for any updates or confirmation that it still works. If it does not work and there are no update then you must remove it.

HI @TsarskyRuskov Content from back in 2017 is likely to include pieces that have needed updating since then. Some might be updatable with a batch fix in Sims 4 Studio, but others might not be. I generally advise that Simmers stick to newer or updated CC.
