Mod breaking my game

HI, 

Im new when it comes to mods on the sims 4, i previously downloaded Adult Mod and it works perfectly fine, however i tried downloading the mod, i followed every step correctly for a macbook but when i went onto the sims gameplay my screen was pixelated with purple and white squares, im unsure on how to explain it. Every other screen works, cas, worlds, loading, but gameplay just seems to be broken. Ive deleted both mods off of my mac and it isnt fixed, im unsure on what to do. Does anyone have any ideas or experienced this and been able to fix it???

    @leonadanielle23 This sounds like one of the mods you downloaded is broken or like you have an older version still installed. Non-adult mods are covered in Broken/Updated Mods & CC . Be sure that you're also updated to the current version of the game that the mod you downloaded supports. Be sure to delete localthumbcache when you remove or replace a mod.
