Not sure if it’s some of the mods I have on the game, but based on the walkthrough, once you take the pictures it should mark the task as complete. Mine is not doing that, which makes it where I can’t call the residents back to show them the renovations. ☹️

I'm having the same issue. I can confirm that the issue also happens with sims that have no photography skill. I wait for the popup to go to the gig if that makes a difference. I've tried using my sim, their phone, and a camera. The pictures are all stored in the photo storage for the gig, but it doesn't check them off on the list and so I can't complete the gig.

I found the cause of the issue (at least for me). It's one of LittleMsSam's mods in her Random Small mods folder. It's the one called "LittleMsSam_RSM_PhotosInStorages." If you have this mod, I would delete it. If you don't have any of her mods but have others, I would look for anything that deals with photography or how photos are stored.If you're having the issue and you don't have any mods, then I'm not sure. This was the problem for me at least.

I had exactly the same problem.I can't finish my renovation, because without the photo-tasks I can't call my customer to come back.I hope someone knows a solution ☹️

@heathbarwileyAre you making sure that you take at least three photos? You need to take at least three before and after photos in order to tick off the tasks.

Yes, I took a lot of photos, and when I click the memory card my photos are there. Just not checking off the task.

For me, the objective didn't complete if I clicked the ground and chose "Take a Before Photo" from that menu, but I was able to complete it by using the phone menu.

@heathbarwiley Did you wait for the popup for the gig at the time the gig starts or just travel to the lot ?

I cant do any of the objectives using any options except for remodeling. The pics are in my inventory from before, but the objective doesn't complete if I use the phone, click on the sim or on the floor. I can't complete getting to know the client. Nothing. I'm over it.

Like do you get a pop up it started ?

I'm having the same problem and I waited for the gig to pop up and then went to the lot with my Sim by clicking on the "Join" button.
And yet can't seem to complete the task ...
