I've the same problem. I waited for the pop up for the gig to start.

I used UI cheats to check the task off, and the rest of the gig went smoothly. Except for taking the after pictures. I had to use UI cheats for that one too.

My sim has no photography skill.

@TerahWatson ooo what are those UI cheats so I can try it until the bug is figured out?
