If it helps, I've also noticed that when I go into the memory card to manage the photos for the gig, I select 3 photos for each category (Before and After) and a little red triangle with an exclamation point shows up next to each category name after making my selection. Also, I don't know if it's related or a separate issue altogether, but it won't let me filter content by the Dream Decorator pack. The pack shows up on the store page and when I click on it, it says "Owned," but the pack doesn't appear under the My Packs page.
@canfreezevodkaDo you have any mods installed? Working with @PrismaDragons76 , we're working on figuring out if it's a mod conflict.
I disabled them first and nothing. then i took them all out and nothing. on 2 different laptops. shoutouts to yall for trying to help
I found the cause of the issue (at least for me). It's one of LittleMsSam's mods in her Random Small mods folder. It's the one called "LittleMsSam_RSM_PhotosInStorages." If you have this mod, I would delete it. If you don't have any of her mods but have others, I would look for anything that deals with photography or how photos are stored.
If you're having the issue and you don't have any mods, then I'm not sure. This was the problem for me at least.

I've been dying to have this career back in the Sims World, so being unable to play it was bugging me immensely. Lol! Normally I wait for others to figure out what's wrong, but this time I was on a mission! ๐
For everyone that has the issue still after removing mods
Try resetting your user files as described in the factory reset described in this post: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-4/FAQ-Troubleshooting-Steps-amp-Known-Issues/m-p/3621199
You won't loose anything. Just make sure to not delete any files and make a backup.
After renaming, repair your game by right clicking on the game in Origin.
Try on a new game with nothing added back first (start new game). If it works, put back your save game and try again. If it still works, you can start putting stuff back.
The rest does not need putting back, cause they are mostly cache files that recreate or log files that are not needed for the game.

@OceanDrinker17Never think Mods are fine because they are small or don't seem to be connected with the feature which is bugged. Always keep an eye on broken/updated Mods lists in discord server or in the Sims 4 Forum to know which mods are broken/updated or confirmed compatible after each patch.
