[MOD RELATED] Highschool sims can't study

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? current version
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? all of em except kits and star wars
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? unless you can't have your teen sims study while at high school then you can't
What happens when the bug occurs? there's no option anywhere to study in the places the game says it should be
What do you expect to see? the option to study when i select the sim, laptop, or bookcase
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. updated the game

my sims can't study for exams when at school or home and can't even attend the study options after school

    HI @TinkaThea 

    Try resetting your user files as described in the factory reset described in this post: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-4/FAQ-Troubleshooting-Steps-amp-Known-Issues/m-p/3621199

    You won't loose anything. Just make sure to not delete any files  and make a backup.

    After renaming, repair your game by right clicking on the game in Origin.

    Try on a new game with nothing added back first (start new game). If it works, put back your save game and try again. If it still works, you can start putting stuff back.

    • Options.ini (or just re-set all your settings manually)
    • Tray Folder
    • Screenshots/Videos/Custom music
    • Rest of the save games (leave out slot_00000001.save which is the autosave and no longer needed - if you still have it)
    • Custom content like clothing, hair, skins, make up ....
    • ConfigOverride, if you have your own configuration files.
    • Mods (one by one, making sure they all still work)

    The rest does not need putting back, cause they are mostly cache files that recreate or log files that are not needed for the game.

    i can't get my sim to study for the exam, it doesnt show up when i select my sim, a bookshelf or the computer. i have tried without my mods, and to repair the game, but i still dont get the option.

    @liv2344 I was having this, and found out it was Kawaiistacie's Education System Bundle causing it. Are you using this mod?

    My sims can only study at school and the same goes for their homework. They can’t study or do their homework at home.

    i thought it might have been this but i had not seen anything about it not working with the new pack so i left it in. ill take it out and try it without it

    I had the same problem and it turned out to be due to KS's Better High School Mod (part of the Education System Mod Bundle). Delete the package from your mod folder if you have it, that fixed the bug for me!

    So I've only opened up my game after 4 weeks and I've only bought the new HS Pack. My sim won't study on the computer but I have taken out Education Overhaul and I didn't have the KS Better Schools mod

    Does anyone know any other advice?

    For me, it was the Harderschool mod by Bienchen. Everything works fine when I remove that mod.

    Hi guys,  

    So I play using mods (but took our all the school related mods i.e better school,  education overhaul)  so I have no mods in my files that are related to schools in the sims however my teenage sim can't study using the computer or the bookshelf

    Can anyone give me some advice on how to fix it
