@KandieWorld I tried to replicate it in a new save and also in a newly created folder where I had copy/pasted an old build save of mine, but no error. A couple of questions:
Is it a specific lot you are trying to place? If it is on the Gallery, could you give the name of it so that I can try to place it?
Where are you trying to place it, in which world, and on which lot?
Is it just one build and on one lot/place, or is it several?
A1. Im placing a residential lot, the name is "Modern Mansion" by missjuli18
A2. Im placing it in Del Sol Valley on the "Inner Circle" lot
A3. Its just one lot

@KandieWorld I tested to place the build in a completely new folder and in the folder with my copied buildsave, trying to place it from map view, from build mode on the lot, when the sim was living on the lot etc; and tried to save on the lot, in build mode, in map view etc. I got no error when saving. I used the option Save As, and sometimes just Save and Exit and Save.
I don't have the Vampires pack, that might effect it, but it was just one couch missing. The combinations of how to do this are too many for me to have covered all of them.
Which save option do you use: "Save", "Save As", "Exit and Save"? If you try to place it and save using the option Save As, do you get the error?
Other things you could try:
Describe the method you are using to place the lot, in detail, for example: you start the game, you load the lot, you go to the Gallery, you place the build, you save while in build mode using option Save; or, you load the game, you load the lot, you go to Gallery, you place the build, then you go to Manage World Map View, you try to save there using option Exit and Save etc.
This description is for you to articulate for yourself what you are doing, so that you can try a different way; and for me to try to replicate to see if I get the error this way.
Since it is only on this lot, a workaround to try is to place the build on another lot the same size, then save that version to your own in-game Library, and then use that version to place on Inner Circle.
Also say if your sims are living on the lot when you try to place it. There might be an issue with the household. A workaround to that could be to move them out of the lot before you place the build, and then move them back after you have successfully saved.
