Hi @baer2112,
Is your error message exactly the same? Please, check it and let us know in case any of the numbers is different 😉
Could you try to follow these steps?:
- Close Origin completely
- Go to Documents \ Electronic Arts
- Rename The Sims 4 folder to The Sims 4 old or something similar.
- Open Origin and try to launch your game again.
Still the same issue?

The whole process deleted game, saves, mods, the mod folder would not delete even though nothing showed in it. I moved the mod folder to the desktop and that did the trick. There were files in that folder that were hidden.

Hey thank you! Your method worked! I removed the mods file from my sims game to my desktop and my game is working.
But I want use mods, how do I get my mods folder working properly. There's no mods in my mods folder

Exactly, the Mods are in the folder you moved 🙂 One or more CC items are causing the issue, check they are compatible with the current patch and download updated ones if necessary.

@Ichirosoma Are you getting the specific error code de4ee14f:29f00e76:00000000:0000000? And what have you tried so far?
