Mods not working on legacy edition?

Hi, I'm trying to help somebody in my group because she can't get her mods working in her legacy edition of the sims 4... I'm usually quite good with this stuff but I haven't been able to find a solution... can somebody please help?

The mods have to be legacy compatible. Anything that says it was updated after the legacy patch means they aren't compatible. Some creators, like LittleMsSam, have legacy only versions. If your friend is sure that all the mods are legacy compatible, it could be a game issue and maybe a repair/refresh is in order. Don't forget to clear the localthumbcache, enable mods in game, etc. but I'm sure you guys tried that already.
