My sims dont appear in the game

I don´t even know how to explain this, but when I enter the game and in the lobby I press to play with the sim that im currently playing,it shows up with no face or body, like a white shadow as if the sims is still loading but never does, and then when I enter the world it doesnt have any sim to play with eventhought this is a saved game with a family I have already played with,it says I need to create a new one and then when I do that and chose a house for the sim to live, something happens and the sim disappers like I didnt created it and appears something saying error please relauch the game etc... I normally use cc but i have already deleted it all thinking it might be causing the problem but it wasnt. I also have uninstaled the game and instaled again but its still the same, please can anyone help me?

    @evaafs 

    Move your Mods folder to the Desktop and delete localthumbcache.package. Then test the game in a new save.
    If it works now check for updates to your Mods and CC. Add it back a little at a time while testing until you have found all that are broken.

    Thank u it works now! I just have a question, all the old saved games i had are not going to work again? cause i tried and its like the bug still happens in those saved games but in new ones it doesnt
