Pet adoption won’t work

Hi so recently tried to adopt a cat and i thought it was going well up until my sim adopted the pet but it didn’t show in the household and when the adoption was over the cat went back. Im not understanding what’s happening. I don’t have any off the grid trait or anything and I have mods and cc. Please Help

Hello @idontmccall,

Try moving your Mods folder to the Desktop and delete localthumbcache.package. Once you've done that, test the game.
If it works normally, check for updates to your mods/CC. You can then add them back a little at a time while testing until you have found all that are broken.
