It may be best to leave it until later on when you can use the computer again,
When you are on the computer later, “ copy” back the "options.ini" or " options " file and the "saves" , "screenshots" "tray" "custom music " and "mods" folders from the desktop sims 4 folder that contain your old saves /mods and place them into the empty electronics arts _2 folder. Then launch the game and see if your saves, mods etc appear,
