problem using packs
i have both cats and dogs and the free holiday pack and ever since i installed mods they havent worked.

Don't use the Mods. Mods have to be compatible with the current patch version of the game and all packs you have installed. The creator of the Mods will have more info on compatibility on their site.

i un installed my mods and restarted both the game and the laptop, my packs still doesnt work.

How about if you repair the game in Origin and try a new clean game https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues-Mac/READ-FIRST-Sims-4-Mac-Help-Guides-and-Troubleshooting/td-p/4612394#M163it partly works the free pack does but not the cats and dogs
