I just detected that townies where married to my sims, it's not something that I, as far as I'm aware of I initiated by clicking pop ups after phone getting calls. I don't think I would click yes on such a phone call. I deleted the townies that had married my sims and now all I can do is wait to see if it happens again. But I also unticked romantic interactions for the townies so it might not happen, I don't know.
Again I have no mod that can cause this.
