- @NPCONEK That’s okay. For clarification, it’s not a question about where you yourself are playing in the real world. Within the game, there are “lots” - different places your sim can live. Those lots can have “lot challenges” - things like “earthquake zone” where the camera will shake occasionally, your sim gets a scared moodlet, and things break. Or “simple living” which makes it so your Sim can’t cook without buying groceries first.
“Off the grid” is a lot challenge available in base game. It makes it so only certain stoves/fridges/showers/toilets actually work, and parts of the phone menu are disabled, but bills are cheaper because your sim isn’t paying for utilities. I get it, I don't seem to touch the stuff because yt what I filmed was for testing, so went in and just used the ''Adoption Agency'' immediately and didn't use the other challenges.
