Another option is to use a potion.

Using the in-game gallery: If you go to the in-game gallery and search "Re-Traiting Potion", I have added one to a room in the gallery (same User ID... SheriGR).
Using the browser gallery: This is a direct link to the room in the browser: https://www.ea.com/games/the-sims/the-sims-4/pc/gallery/53D3522AF29D11E88E7EB573E4FD424D If you view it in the browser/at the link, you can just click the folder icon to 'add to your downloads'. Then open your game (or close and re-open your game if it was already open), and the room will be in your game library. Place the room from your library onto your lot and have your sim drink it to get an option to change their traits.
