Re: script_object.py:1653
That’s the kicker, I cannot figure what’s causing the error, the exception reports list no mods : description : script_object: terrain pointer, which I don’t understand. I do not have any terrain altering mods installed

It might not be a mod at all, but the only way to be sure of that is to test with the Mods folder dragged to your desktop. Some errors are the game, not mods.
That’s going to be my next test, to move the mods folder out again and try playing a complete new household or try playing a new save.
because the exception error never list a mod that’s causing the error so it’s hard to say.
Let me know what turns up for you! It might help someone else later find one of the possible causes.
Results:
I repaired the EA app, repair game and ran a completely new save with the mods folder after testing the mods.
playing a generic sims no cc home, when ever I open build mode an exception is generated so I will remove my better build and perform the same action again. My sim was standing outside the lot speaking to an NPC when the error generated.
Okay, test without the Mods folder at all too to make sure it's mods causing the issue. And make sure you're on the most recent release of Better BuildBuy and don't have any mods listed as conflicting with it.
