im having the same problem but i still havent fixed it, its in the mod folder but just wont work

So, I downloaded a cc house and I put it in the trays folder. But, when I put the house on a lot, the furniture won’t show. What am I doing wrong??

you'll need to download all cc furniture separately and put them in your mods folder.

If it's furniture that comes with the house, make sure to place the house furnished and not unfurnished. 

How do you know what furniture to buy separately?? Because I want the furniture in the house

That is the same as me. I downloaded a bunch of furniture and it is in my mods folder but it won't show up in my game.

The files will need to be unzipped (if they are in a zip file) and placed in the mods folder.
Be sure to "enable custom content and mods" under the other tab in game options.
If that does not work the best bet may be to go back to the CC creator to verify the items are compatible with the current patch.

Hello! Can you help me? It’s not working for me. I’ve downloaded houses, I put furnished, I put it in the tray and  the furniture still doesn’t work. What did you do?  

I tried unzipping my files but it didn't work. I don't know if I just didn't unzip the files correctly or something else is happening. I've put my downloads in the mods folder and any file that was a zip file, i double tapped it and it brought be to Ashampoo ZIP file pro and then closed it out. idk if that unzipped it or I'm just stupid, but I'm still annoyed about not being able to have cc furniture

I have downloaded cc clothes accessories shoes and the all work fine but I have downloaded furniture and lots but they wont show up on my game I put the furniture into the mods file and Lots into the tray but they wont show. I have all mods settings on. I have been watching lots of videos to see if they will help with my problem but they don't. Please someone help me!!!

There could be a chance that the furniture was a recolor or retexture of another mesh. If so then you will need to download the original mesh; if the furniture appears in the game, but doesn't show up when you place it, it will usually show up later on in the game, though I don't know how to solve that problem indefinitely.

Furniture goes in the mods folder, and houses go in the Tray. If the house isn't showing up, you most likely didn't do anything wrong, usually its because there's a file missing. If you're talking about furniture not showing up in the game it could be because the furniture was a recolor or a retexture of another mesh, and in that case you'd need to download the original mesh in order for the furniture to show up. If you can place the furniture in the world, but it doesn't actually appear, it will usually appear later, though I don't know how to fix the problem itself.
