I moved the bed into the dead center of the room and it worked, so it's just against the wall that doesn't work for some reason. I didn't use move objects for anything, but the flowers outside (from a house off the gallery) were probably placed with it. I'm not sure why that would affect the inside though. Also, I previously had different nightstands in the same places and it worked fine.
- crinrict2 years agoHero+@Brandie_Family If you try those other nightstands again, does it work ? You don't have anything on the ceiling that's not visible on the pic ?
No, it doesn't work and there's nothing on the ceiling except for a small light (it doesn't hang down.)
@Brandie_Family Hi! Sorry you're having so much trouble with this. Since you mentioned the plants outside being placed with the lot from the gallery, I wonder if you've tried moving the outside plant that covers the wall on the other side of where the bed is placed.
I don't know if this is the problem but perhaps the plant was placed with MOO and the plant's footprint could be interfering with the interior.
If that doesn't help, would you mind saving and sharing this lot on the Gallery. I'd like to test it and see if I can figure out what might be happening. You could name it something like "Problem With Bed" so it's easy to find and lets others know it's a problem lot.Hey, that's alright haha. I removed the wall plant, but that didn't do anything either. I also figured out that some of them were actually debug plants, and removed those too. Also nothing. The lot is on the gallery now, with the name "Problem with Bed." Thank you so much for taking time out your day to deal with this!
@Brandie_Family Thanks for sharing that! I put the lot in my game and I'm having the same trouble.
I've been trying different things to fix it but having been able to figure out the problem. I'll keep trying though. At least we can say that it's not just you. :-) Please leave the lot on the Gallery for now. Perhaps others will have time to check it out as well.EDIT: I just figured it out. There is an outdoor plant underneath the bedroom that needs to be moved or deleted. I found it when I was resizing the room. I noticed the corner on the right side of the bed looked just a little weird. Try these steps...
1. Move the bedside table out.2. Move this small part of the wall toward the bed.
3. Grab this plant that was hidden underneath
4. Delete or move the plant out
5. Put everything back; move the wall back into place, then move the bed and table
Now please go back and see if your sim will get in the bed from the right side. Let us know if it works for you or not.
It worked! Thank you!!
@Brandie_Family You're welcome! I'm glad you were able to get it working. Happy Simming!
