@SHINEN212 Hello! Thanks for sharing that image. That is a routing failure, meaning there is something blocking the sims path. I noticed in the image that you may have a low hanging light near the bookcase.
These lights can block the path same as if something was on the ground and in the way. Try moving that light, and any other low lights, and then direct your sim put away the book again. Please let us know if you still have trouble.
Nope it is not the lighting. I moved the light and moved the book case closer and it still does it. I even tried to clean up books on another bookcase and it the action goes away when in their queue, they never try it
@SHINEN212 That is very strange! Would you mind sharing that lot to the Gallery? I'd like to test it in my game to see if I have the same issue. If you do share it, please label it something like "Problem with books and food", so people know there's an issue, and also share your Gallery name if it's different from the one you use here.
- The lot name is tglm-Problem w/books&food or tglm-Problem w/books&fo and my ID name is ShineN212
@SHINEN212 Thanks for sharing the lot!
I wasn't able to test it though because whenever I tried to load into Live mode, the game kept giving me an error code. I tried several times. It was a 111 error code and, based on my research, this usually means there is a broken food item. Just placing the lot generated Last Exceptions for me which pointed to an issue with "Gumbo". Does that sound familiar? I was able to load into Build mode in my game but I didn't see any plates. Perhaps you could search for plates on the lot in your game and if so, remove them. Sometimes they glitch and appear hovering in mid-air. If that's the case, you could try to grab them and put them on a counter, then remove the counter.EDIT: I tried testing one more time and did find a floating bowl of gumbo.
I placed it on one of the counters, then sold the counter. This was all in Build mode. After that, I was able to add a sim and load the lot in Live mode. I directed the sim to Put Away the book that was on the floor and she did it with no problem.
Perhaps you could try finding and removing the Gumbo bowl, then have your sim put the book away, to see if that was causing the problem.
I followed those instructions and im still getting the same error. I even reuploaded the lot under gumbo manor and its still not fixed. Do you mind retrying the gumbo manor and see what you get?
@SHINEN212 I bulldozed the lot in my game and added your Gumbo Manor. My sim was able to read a book and put it back without any trouble. The only difference I can think of is I don't have the CC in my game that you have in yours. I think it's likely that one or more CC items you have are broken and are causing the issue.
So im guessing i have to do the 50/50 again
@SHINEN212 I know it's a very tedious process but I think it's worth it to figure out what's causing your problem.
Just popping in to note that for custom recipes (mod ones), you can run into lot loading issues if for some reason - including testing! - you remove the mod but there are plates of food from that mod somewhere on the lot. Always worth deleting plates before you test. This doesn't seem related to the putting away issue, but it can mess with testing.
So i figured out it was the mods from QMBIBI. I tried to reach out to her for help but she never helps and is kind of rude. Im not sure what mods shes interferring with, Do you think you can help?
Did you find something specific I can look for
@SHINEN212 Just to clarify, do you mean you removed the mods by QMBIBI and then your sims were able to put away the books?
Hi @SHINEN212 ! I'd suggest considering switching to a modder like Littlbowbub for food mods. Somik & Severinka have also been great with keeping theirs updated. I don't know how they are on support, but they're great on upkeep, and that's usually a good sign.
yes, then i uploaded all of them back one by one and they prevent my sim
i have them as well....but i love her work ☹️
@SHINEN212 Thanks for clarifying! Unfortunately, when using any mods, we're all at the mercy of the creators. It would be best to leave out the mods that are causing issues in your game unless and until the creator provides an update.
Would you mind providing just the names of those mods that are breaking your game (no links please, just the names)? Perhaps we can help you find suitable replacements.
Here are a few:https://www.patreon.com/qmbibi/posts
@SHINEN212 Those mods are broken, then. Delete any plates left from them and delete the mods.
