can you all recommend me some good maxis match hair and clothes pretty please!for both male and female :) I’ve recently downloaded some maxis match content and I’m loving it and I just need some more to add to my game but I feel like I’m running into the same content when searching (it’s obvious I’m not so good at this)

I have all my CC sorted in subfolders (Make-up, Hairstyles, Clothes) and I use Sims4Studio to regularly sort through it and delete items I don't or hardly use. I also don't use CC on townies, that way I don't have to redress them when I decide to delete something.

Just off the dome I’d go with, Ridgeport, viiavi, Sentate, grimcookies, crypticsims, simandy, simtric, savvysims, qwertysims, leeleesims, Wondcarlotta, candysims, and peacemaker (they do amazing furniture collections)Adding enriquesims for their hair and cumbersims because they do really good recolors and have some great eyeshadowsAll of them can be found on tumblr

I only use Maxis Match and some of my favourites are Saurus Sims, Nolan SIms, Double-Plumbob (on hiatus, but has some great recolors), LeeLeeSims, WildyMiniatureSandwich and SimLaughLove. There are more, but these are the first that spring to mind.

thank you guys! do you have a limit on how big your mods folder is?

I only have 900mb worth and I always overworry that I’m going to slow my game down or make it lag but I have a decent gaming PC. I don’t have any issues at all so far I just don’t really know what classes as ‘too much’ CC

@xstxrrysequence wow that’s a lot of CC! so would you say it usually would affect loading time rather than the lag?

I think I’m going to treat myself to 500gb worth of CC?

I barely have any custom content in my game cause like you I don't really know where to find it apart from the site I already linked.

Yep.

Also, the more CC you have, the harder it is to find what CC is causing problems if you have any bugs in your game, since the 50/50 method will be extremely time-consuming.

@Sharonia yeah I mean it doesn’t bother me too much but when I see youtubers with so much good CC I’m like meh jealous. So I want to do a big ish shop.

@xstxrrysequence yeah this is the kind of things that put me off having too much content in my game.
