Sim will not interact with anything and I cannot click on

I'm playing a sim family 2 children and 2 adults. The two children and the mother interact with everything just fine no issues at all. The father however i cannot get to go into the part of the house...

@Emmim1985 Is the father labeled as neighbor by chance ?

no it was actually the door that was the issue lol swapped it and he worked again on idea why
