Sims 4 Cottage Living - Vitality Fertilizer (and others)

I can't seem to figure out how to use this item, or the super version, or any others.  I tried googling it, which normally works well for me, but all I find is that I'm to "sprinkle" the fertilizer ...

    These fertilizers only work on oversized crops in the new farming patches. Plant oversized crops, water, and then fertilize.

    @Siluial No problem! Glad I could help you clear that up! If you're interested, there's a YouTube named James Turner who does Sims builds and playthroughs. Watching his stuff helps me figure out how to do things faster than looking it up! Jamesturneryt is his channel.
