Sims 4 For Rent Pack not working after download

My game is doing the exact same thing with the white screen when trying to go to the world... Taking out mods now to try to figure out what's causing it. 

@crazycasey42 Could you please test any venue change mod you have alone?

I removed my mods, repaired the game, restarted the app, and uninstalled and re-installed the games, but nothing worked. It looks like the pack's build/buy items are there but the ability to create and purchase a residential rental is not. Also, the new world does not appear; when I select it, I only see a blank white screen. 

Hello, Did you figure it out? I just downloaded the new pack and I'm having issues with the white screen in the new world too. 

i downloaded it but cannot access anything in it, gotta love ea for making unplayable games. why haven't they fixed this yet

Tool mod 

Try to download a better exceptions mod by twisted mexi. It will identify which are broken and should be removed. It happened to me too, all white screen in Tomarang.

@Teq1215 Please start at Broken/Updated Mods 

@DoctorClara61 Are you playing with any mods or CC in your Mods folder? If so, see what happens after you drag that folder to your desktop and delete localthumbcache. (Don't save, though! Or test in a new game.) If that solves your issue, head to Broken/Updated Mods .

I've tried removing my mods folder but that didn't help, I'm otsure about the localthumbcache though. 🙂

@DoctorClara61 Could you please test on a clean folder? Exit Sims 4 then drag your whole Sims 4 folder from Document > Electronic Arts to your desktop. Launch Sims 4 and reset your Options (this is better than putting your old options file back in). Then try a new save.

I tried that and it didn't work ... however I ended up removing everything including all my saved stuff from the last 10 years (by accident) in the process so now I have a completely fresh and new game that is now working just fine I have old backups but I just want to get back to playing rather than fixing thanks everyone for all your help.. 

@Harleygirl62 There's always a chance, since a clean folder helped, that if you had mods, some need updating or removing. For that, start at Broken/Updated Mods . You could try putting in an old save and testing it now too.

Thank you I really appreciate your help I will do that .... I've played sims for a long time I started with 2 love 3 new computer can't play it and now onto 4 and it's challenging I'm 61 and still love it

and we could continue in that thread, or you could make a new one.  Sims 3 should run on your system though: it works, with a tweak or two, on pretty much anything that runs Sims 4.

That would be amazing if you can help me with that I miss playing sims 3 too 

Sorry this is so late, i've tried this just now, still nothing showing up in game :/ guess i wasted money unless you have any other ideas?

@DoctorClara61 Which things aren't you seeing specifically? In the EA App/Origin, do you see that you have the pack? (If that's the case, I'll send you to https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues-PC/bd-p/The-Sims-4.) On the world screen, do you see the world? In a world where all the lots are eligible, like Newcrest, can you see the option to create a Residential Rental? Test without the Mods folder, after deleting the localthumbcache file.

Hello it's me again. Finally got back onto my sims, so the outfits are now showing up but when the sim wears them it does the yellow and red error ive seen with cc where it doesn't have the original mesh. Didn't get as far as seeing the world but i'll check once ive taken mods out to see if that might be clashing but i have a feeling it isn't.
