Sims 4 For Rent Pack not working after download

We had a problem with the new sims 4 for rent expansion pack it was showing as installed but not working in game. Unistalling the pack and re installing it fixed the problem

How can you uninstall the pack from EA? I can't fin the option

  For me the culprit was TMEX-TOOL repairing nor installing was the issue.

@ales_df86 I'm wondering about this as well. I tried to uninstall the For Rent expansion, but the only option it allowed was to uninstall all the games. I uninstalled and re-installed it without mods, and the new functionality is not working. The new world is also not loading.

  @ceblue08 Please try a clean folder and test a new save: Exit Sims 4 then drag your whole Sims 4 folder from Document > Electronic Arts to your desktop. Launch Sims 4 and reset your Options. Then select New and see if you can access that.

    My game still keeps saying preparing and then download error I don't know what else to try.
    I repaired the game
    Uninstalled EA app reinstalled
    Cleared cache
    Restarted computer
    Downloaded from manage add ons
    NOTHING, seems to be working please help 🙏🏽. I am afraid to Uninstaller the whole game because it may not let me install it back. 😢
