Sims 4 studio is trying to force me to download Microsoft desktop app
I don't want to. I don't know what it is therefore I do not trust it. But I REALLY want the studio to make my own cc. PLEASE HELP!

You would probably be better off asking at the S4S site. That said, I'll try to help you.
Which version are you trying to install? Installer or the zip?
I always use the zip version and install manually. I just updated S4S a couple of weeks ago without any problem.
So, try the using the zip version if you've been using the installer version. All you need is a compressed file program like Winzip or Winrar. They are free. Just google to find one.
