sims 4

I am having a huge tech issue with my sims. my mac ran out of space, so I used a desktop cleaner to clear some space on it. after this for some reason my sims just started to constantly reset after I make them do anything that interacts with another sim, and nothing will work. I can barely play. so I went through all of my mods and updated the script mods and cleared out a lot. I repaired and updated the game on origin and that took 3 days lol. still nothing worked. so now I deleted all game files multiple times from the folder, and finally my game starts working again- UNTIL - I update my game option settings to run script mods. It continues working until I exit the game to "restart" so the mods work again, and then it happens again. I can't click on anything that has to do with MCCC or any other sim. I've been dealing with this for over a week, and I have no idea what to do. if I uninstall the game again it takes 2 days to reinstall everything and then it goes back to not working as soon as I enable my mods again. please help!
