Sims seem to think they MUST go hiking!

This is driving me bonkers! If i want them to hike, I'll send them on one. I know I could turn off autonomy, but it seems ridiculous to have to do it for this! Help, please?

    And I found it! I think I couldn't find it because of the file name "gohikingeverywhere.package" . It wouldn't show hike or hiking without the other words, I think.

    .... now.. time to find the next interesting bug! LOL  A friend on GEnie years ago loved having me alpha and beta test his client for GEnie because I always did the unexpected 🙂

For some reason I can't create that list, will keep trying.

Right now I'm only playing in Newcrest, and the couple love to go hiking while their toddler son is home! I actually had to do a computer reset a few weeks ago and it stopped for a while, but has started again.  I need to go over the mods I put in the game the last week to see which might do it. 


I don't think I'd mind the hiking so much if they'd take the kids with them, or to stop trying hiking when it would leave the toddler alone!

    @Dashael Is that the mod by TReiler on The Sims Resource? It's the only one I can find by that name, and it does download as exactly that filename, so I'll go ahead and assume so. (I don't track TSR mods, and there are very few there.) I'd have expected that mod to have issues because hiking in the game is pretty tightly world-tied.

    Yep! I think I assumed that it meant you could direct them to hike, not that it was autonomous!  At least I can let me sims out of their houses now .. LOL!
