Something Stinks

Theres something in one of my apartments that smells and my sims keep complaining about it. Usually this kind of thing emanates from something sitting around or the fridge but I can't seem to see anything. Anyone have any ideas?

  • You're using MOO and CC? Check to see if something is under the house? Maybe? Or (just reaching here), could it be one of the CC items is somehow tagged dirty? You can see the dirt stain, maybe try using a different cabinet (that looks like CC?) and see if the issue persists.
  • I had one of my sims click on it and and complain to the super but it was really tricky to click on it. They showed up and mopped it up. Seems to be ok now. Yes all CC
  • Sorry, I forgot you said apartment. Is it tagged with the needs TLC trait? I wonder if it was something that broke and is part of game play, you had to call the landlord to come fix it. That looks like the TLC apartment with the little balcony off it?
  • I wonder too cause now sims are seeing bugs.. but I can't see any. I'll check

Oh, it does need TLC. Can I change that? It's greyed out!

Sorry, didn't see this. There used to be a mod that unlocked the lot traits. Maybe do an internet search for TS4 unlock lot traits mod. If you don't use mods, then no. You cannot change the trait. If you use the mod, you can just uncheck the trait and put a different one.

At least you know where the mystery stench/flies are coming from, next you'll see mice and roaches. It's a "lovely" gameplay feature /sarcasm (lol).
