Wanting to download cc but I don’t know where to start or how etc

A bit of a stretch here, but can anyone help me get a working WinRAR file opener thing? (I'm sorry if this made you cringe) Everyone that I've downloaded or tried has not worked at all. I had to reset my computer at one point and it deleted what I was using at the time. I'd really appreciate the help since I have been fighting this thing for about a month now, ever since I updated and bought about 4 packs. I'm so close to just saying screw it and deleting the game.
