why can't I get my copy of 37393 to show up?

Could you please post the name of the files in addition to their IDs? It's hard to understand what you might be running into at first glance, otherwise.

Sorry, 26140 is mixer_social_WooHoo_targeted_romance_transition, where my copy is working perfectly.

37393 is mixer_social_BedIntimate_WooHoo_targeted_romance_HighScore, which I also added to socialMixers_BedIntimate_Romance (30431).
And I have the same problem with mixer_social_SitIntimate_WooHoo_targeted_romance_HighScore (37394), which I did add to socialMixers_SitIntimate_Romance (26605).

I didn't run into any trouble with the bed-intimate-tryforbaby or sit-intimate-tryforbaby (although they don't have any extra files listing them as affordances).

The interactions should show up when added to those lists you have mentioned. Have you tried removing the old one? Are you sure you're not simply getting duplicates in the Pie Menu?

Yes positive, because I renamed the text that shows in the menu.

Have you tried replacing socialMixers_BedIntimate_Romance and socialMixers_SitIntimate_Romance with versions where you removed the original interactions? Does that change take effect?

You might want to check whether any of the interactions involved are using pie menu categories that would need to be edited too. Note that those have an associated DATA resource. When that goes out of whack, it can render the entire pie menu nonfunctional .. I haven’t fully understood how it works, but I’ve seen plenty of pie menu breakage with custom interactions on stuff modeled after computers – it only worked when I either removed everything but my own interactions (i.e. what SGEugi says), or used the same (unchanged) categories as the original. When you say you "renamed the text", doublecheck that you didn’t accidentially change the category!

Haven't had a chance to try Eugi's last suggestion yet, been out of town. Category's untouched. And my pie menu interaction shows up on a select-sim interaction if they're standing (or whatever), just not from the intimate postures. It's really weird.

OK I never looked at anything WooHoo, but, stuff not showing up from some postures is something I’ve also run into when making this mod (and it did work out in the end) -- the problem in my case was, I think, that I had stuck the transitions (Homework_Start and another similar one that I don’t remember the name of) into the wrong place. To me it seemed like when the game decides it cannot run an interaction because the sim’s current posture is incompatible, it won’t show it at all. I don’t remember anymore whether or not it played a role which other interactions were available, so definitely try removing the other ones too.

Still, there might be nothing wrong with the pie menu after all – when you say "targeted_romance_transition" is working perfectly, maybe that is something that other interactions also need to start with?

Also, I dont know what you’re trying to do there in the end, but if this is about adding your interactions to existing objects, maybe try using this approach – was posted yesterday by scumbumbo/Aren and seems like a much cleaner solution than overriding the original tuning.

I created a flowchart reference for all the files for woohoo and tryforbaby (and a bunch of files related like pickers, pickedsim, filters, testsets, etc) so that I could make sure to catch all the interconnected bits and also more easily figure out which file was causing any given failure.

FYI the targeted_romance_transition is not connected to the bedintimate and sitintimate ones, because they use different acceptance animations. So the intimates don't call the basic trt file. Both the intimates and the trt call a 3rd file (among others) for performing the action once selected and accepted. There's really a crazy cascade/web of files involved in any major changes to the functioning of woohoo/tfb.

So it turns out socialMixers_BedIntimate_Romance doesn't control the choices from the BedIntimate posture. I commented out both Woohoo and TryForBaby in that file, and the options were both still there, and when selected carried through to the end with no problem. Which now makes me very confused why that file even exists... And also, this is the only file that references mixer_social_BedIntimate_TryForBaby_targeted_romance_HighScore or the SitIntimate one. So how can this work that the choices exist if I remove them from the Romance file and they're not called by any other file?
