Youth potion isn’t working

I’ve purchased the youth potion to use on my elder sims and they haven’t changed yet. Does anyone know how long the process takes?

The youth potion only resets the current stage of life. if you wish to make your sim young again then you will have to use the full CAS cheat to change your elder to a younger sim.
